***VERY IMPORTANT: We have received the Air Force Academy Facility Access Registration link for our event in January.
For those of you who attended our meet last year, you are familiar with the additional registration requirement to access the Air Force Academy facility. FYI - The registration process and approval text message are slightly different this year.
If you did not attend our meet in 2025, please read this information carefully.
Below is the base access link for registration that will need to be completed to enter USAFA prior to our event. We highly encourage everyone planning to attend either the Jr. Rocky Mountain Open or the Rocky Mountain Open college meet to complete this link well before the event dates. Typically, it takes 24-48 hours to receive the approval message back but as we get closer and registration increases, the response time may be longer.
Once your registration is approved, you will receive an approval text message that you will need to keep track of. You will need to show this text message, along with your driver’s license, each time you enter the Air Force Academy Facility at the North Gate.
Please note that this registration will ask you for your full name, social security number, driver's license number, and gender.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: We have been waiting for information from the Air Force Academy regarding additional requirements to access the facility due to heightened security. At this time, we have not yet received this information. We did not want to delay sharing the rest of this important information with you any longer and will send another email as soon as we receive these additional instructions. We apologize for this delay.
Directions: All spectators and participants must enter the Air Force Academy through the North Gate, exit 156 off of I-25. The venue directions are attached for your reference.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We believe there will be additional requirements to access the Air Force Academy Facility in addition to the information shown below. These requirements may further impact the time it takes to enter the facility, so please plan accordingly.
When you reach the guard building at the North Gate, everyone in the vehicle over the age of 18 should be prepared to show a picture ID (not just the driver), and your vehicle is subject to search. Be sure to allow enough time for this when arriving at the meet as there can be backups during high traffic times.
Weapons are not allowed on the Academy grounds, so if you normally carry any type of weapon in your car or on your person, please plan to leave that behind.
Admission Fee – JRMO The meet entry fee for each JRMO session is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, and children under 3 are free. PLEASE LET YOUR FAMILIES KNOW THIS IS CASH ONLY! Thank you!
Admission Fee – Rocky Mountain Open College Meet: The Air Force Academy will be charging a separate entry fee for the college meet on Saturday evening. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance USING THIS LINK . The Air Force Academy is now a cash-free facility, so only credit cards can be used to purchase tickets at the door. Doors will open at 5 pm on Saturday evening, and we believe there will be a 650-spectator limit for the college meet.
Clear Bag Policy – JRMO and Rocky Mountain Open College Meet: The Air Force Academy has implemented a clear bag policy for all facilities. Spectators are allowed to bring a single Clear Bag per person. The attached 2024-25_Cadet_Gym_Entrance_Policies.pdf lists all the Cadet Gymnastics Entry Policy rules and prohibited items. All personal belongings are subject to search by Academy security personnel. This policy will be strictly enforced for all JRMO sessions and the college meet.
For the JRMO sessions only, spectators will be allowed to bring in outside food items in a clear gallon sized ziplock bag. This requirement does not apply to athletes or coaches.
Hard sided (or Nalgene) plastic bottles will be allowed for coaches and athletes, but not for spectators. Spectators are only allowed to bring in factory-sealed or empty transparent soft plastic water bottles. There are water fountains available in the Cadet Gymnastics for refilling water bottles.
BAGS: Many types of bags are not allowed – please review this information in the attached Entry policy document. Backpacks/duffle bags are allowed for coaches/judges/athletes, but not for spectators.
Concessions: AFA will provide a variety of concession options located near the Cadet Center Gym through the duration of the event. Concessions will be credit card only – no cash.
Parking: The North Gate opens to visitors at 6 am each day. Parking should be available in the Upper East Parking lot and possibly the South Parking lot – please see the attached parking map and the areas circled in red. If applicable, please follow instructions from Academy parking staff. From the parking area, walk past the Falcon Athletic Center to enter the Cadet Gymnasium.
Awards: All awards ceremonies will take place after each session either in the West Center Gym or the Fencing gym, both located just down the hall from the West Gym. Signs will direct gymnastics spectators to the awards area.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located in the hallway near the West Gym and at the main entrance of the Cadet Gym.
Security: All individuals and bags are subject to search when entering the West Gym.
Rocky Mountain Open College Meet – Saturday night, 6 pm: Don’t miss this amazing night of men’s gymnastics! The Air Force Academy will be competing against Arizona State, University of Nebraska, University of Oklahoma, the Rocky Mountain Mavericks, Simpson, and Stanford.
